7″ 5th Generation Amazon Kindle Fire On Sale for $39.99 ($10 Discount)!

Just a quick note that Amazon is having an awesome sale on some budget friendly devices.  They now have their 7″ Amazon Kindle Fire (5th Generation) on sale for $39.99, down from $49.99.

The Amazon Fire is not only budget friendly but it is a great buy for what you get.  It comes with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB (or 16 GB) of onboard storage, microSD support for up to 128 GB, and more!

The biggest downside to the device is that it comes with the Amazon Fire OS and not stock Android.  However, my friend RootJunky has created an awesome SuperTool that allows you to root your device, install other launchers and boot to recovery.  His tool makes the Amazon Fire even more appealing as you are no longer locked in to Amazon’s limited operating system.
