Nuu Mobile X5 – A Premium Budget Device!

I’ve been using Nuu Mobile devices now for a while, and for the most part, they are all decent devices.  Today, I’m here to tell you about the brand new, Nuu Mobile X5.  The X5 which is not just a decent device, it is an awesome one!

Nuu Mobile is a company that makes budget devices that are $200 or less.  Typically, when you make a budget device you have to make some trade-offs.  With every Nuu Mobile device I’ve used, they always have their strong points.  But there were one or two minor things that weren’t as good as you would get on a more expensive device.  With the X5, I didn’t feel like there were any significant trade-offs!  It was a solid device all the way around.  Now don’t misunderstand, it is still a budget device, but this is quite possibly the best budget device I have ever used!

The Nuu Mobile X5 has a 5.5-inch display with an FHD resolution of 1920×1080.  It looks just as good in direct sunlight as it does indoors.

The X5 comes with a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor and 3GB of RAM.  This combination offers some solid and snappy performance.  The X5 was capable of running just about everything I threw at it and had barely any problems.  And thanks to the 2,950 mAh battery, you can keep the phone running for at least a day with regular usage.

And with the 32GB of onboard storage and a microSD slot for up to an additional 128GB of storage.  You won’t need to worry about running out of space for your apps, photos, and videos.

Speaking of photos, the X5 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.  Both cameras performed well enough but were a little bit slower than what I would see with other more expensive devices.

The X5 comes with a fingerprint scanner that isn’t the fastest scanner, but it is very accurate.  It provides a secure way for you to unlock the phone and protect your data.

My favorite feature of the phone is the look and feel of it.  The X5 comes with an aluminum body that both looks and feels great.  It gives the phone a premium look without costing anywhere near as much as a premium device.  Most aluminum devices feel slick and I always worry that I’ll drop them.  I’m not sure how they did it, but the X5 somehow feels grippier than those other aluminum devices and sits comfortably in the hand without me having to worry about dropping it.

It also comes with a lot of other nice features, it has double tap to wake, lock screen gesture support, scheduled on and off times, a game mode, one-handed mode, an FM radio, an app locker that prevents apps from launching without a password, and more!  It also comes with a screen protector, a case, headphones, and the standard micro-USB charger.

The X5 is a great performer in the budget arena and is one of the best budget devices I’ve used.  Yes, there are other devices that perform better, but those devices also cost more.  The X5 is an awesome entry into the budget device range and is a phone that I would recommend to anyone trying to save some money.  You can order the Nuu Mobile X5 here: Nuu Mobile X5
