More Details – Samsung Testing a Gigantic 18.4″ Tablet

Earlier this month a shipping manifest was leaked with details on a tablet that Samsung was testing with a huge 18.4 inch screen.

SamMobile recently reported that a device code named “Tahoe” with a model number of SM-T670 was in the works and they were able to get some specs on the tablet.

In my previous post I stated that I wasn’t sure what I would use such a large tablet for.  After thinking it over I started coming up with a few ways that I would be able to use it but I’m still not sold on it.  At 18.4″ the tablet would be more of an entertainment center than anything else.  It would be great for sitting on the couch and watching a show or maybe playing a game but I prefer my 42″ TV for watching a show and I don’t need to sit with my neck craned in awkward positions in order to enjoy it.  I can maybe see playing games on it but who wants to play a game of Angry Birds where you have to pull the slingshot back six inches?  So yes, there are people out there that a tablet like this would work well for, I’m just not convinced yet that I am one of them.
